Who Are We?

Bob Jackson – Managing Director

Bob is one of the founding Directors of Mediatech.
He has worked abroad extensively, specialising in large event organisation, and is very familiar with all aspects of project management.

Colin Gould – Financial & Commercial Director

Colin joined Mediatech in 1981, with ten years previous accounting experience.
He has overall financial responsibility for Mediatech, and works closely with the event staff on all shows to ensure the commercial and financial viability of the project.

Mark Oakley – Technical Director

Mark has been involved in the film and audio-visual industry all his working life and has been with Mediatech since 1983.
He has held the position of Technical Manager since 1990 and owing to his extensive knowledge of both equipment and event organisation is a valuable asset to any project.

Andy Wilkinson – Sales Manager

Andy has worked within the audio visual industry for 20 years, and has been working with Mediatech for over 10 years.
Andy manages the sales and marketing areas of the business, and is responsible for both new business and working to improve relationships with our long term clients.

Sally Griffiths – Project and Account Manager

Sally joined Mediatech in 2003 as a senior event manager, but has been involved in the audio visual industry since 1991.
Starting from a technical background and moving into project management she specialises in logistics and operations, and has an extensive background in project and account management.

Guy Shahabudin – Project and Account Manager

Guy has worked in the broadcast television and audio visual hire industries for more than twenty five years and joined Mediatech in 2007.
In a career spanning every area of the industry from sales to technical project management, Guy has gained a comprehensive technical knowledge coupled with a broad experience in dealing with clients at all levels both in the UK and overseas.

Nigel Woolf – I.T. Manager

Nigel has worked in the audio visual industry since 1991 and since joining Mediatech in 1996 has specialized in the implementation and management of the I.T system.
Nigel has developed a system which enables us to provide dedicated client e-mail addresses and allows us secure VPN access across the internet enabling remote onsite downloads with no size restrictions.

Gary Adams – Senior Technician

Gary has been working with Mediatech since 1996 joining as a trainee audio visual technician.
With many years of experience in the industry and a broad depth of technical knowledge he is now a senior technician and a highly valued member of the team.

Mick Bird – Set Construction Manager

Mick has been involved in set construction since he joined Mediatech in 1984, and has been in charge of our in-house set department since 1985.
His skills are invaluable in the production of all our sets, from simple designs with a single screen to larger multi-screen constructions.
